Daniel Samson

Daniel Samson is an award-winning journalist who works at Nukta Africa as Digital Editor. He manages all digital news outlets including the first multimedia and data driven site Nukta Habari. Daniel was the first journalist to be awarded Best Data journalist of the 2019 by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Daniel is digital media trainer and heads the news desk which is responsible for coordinating and generating stories including data-driven stories for digital platforms. He specializes in multimedia storytelling, Data Journalism and Fact-checking. He holds a B.A Journalism from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC) from the University of Dar es Salaam.
